John Weaver was the Organist/Director
of Music at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church
in New York from
1970 to 2005, Chair of the Organ Department at the Curtis Institute
of Music
from 1970 to 2003 and of the Juilliard School from 1987
to 2004. He holds honorary doctorates
from Westminster College
and the Curtis Institute. He and his wife live in West Glover, Vermont.
