The pipe band displayed their newly registered official San Diego Tartan.
As part of the Scottish Register of Tartans Act of 2008,
the new tartan must be a new and unique design.
The San Diego Tartan colors represent the colors of San Diego:
Torrey pines, the blue Pacific, grey marine mammals,
red and gold for the Marines and the Navy.
