The special ceremony is the formal presentation of the new audio broadcast system in the California Tower
to the City by the friends of Balboa Park. First to speak is George Hardy, Chairman of the Friends
as well as Past President of the Spreckels Organ Society. On stage with him are: David Marshall, Vice-Chair of the Friends,
Jeff VanDeerlin of the San Diego Parks and Recreation Department, Ben Garcia, Deputy Director of the Museum of Man, Mark Dillon,
Chair of the Board of the Museum of Man and Gina Seashore, Carillonist for the Park.
