Everything is ready for the concert: frequent jetliners passing over the park, loud motorcycles passing to the west,
the House of Scotland bagpipes tuning up across the street, shuttle buses idling behind the terrace,
and wandering bicyclists riding through the main aisle.
President Jack Lasher welcomes the crowd and pronounces that we're ready to start the music.
