He plays organ in the dark. The Organ Pavilion is empty, except for the Civic Organist.
The Organ music flows in the night over a nearly deserted Balboa Park.
When the COVID 19 Pandemic hit in March 2020, all large gatherings were prohibited.
The Sunday afternoon concerts were cancelled. A plan was devised to keep fresh organ music available to the fans.
The Civic Organist, the Organ Curator and a dedicated group of Society volunteers met at the Pavilion
on designated evenings and recorded music for concerts that would be broadcast on the internet at the traditional 2:00 PM Sundays.
Regular Sunday concerts have been provided weekly for eight months now.
