After the concert volunteers were given a tour of the inner workings of the Organ. In the center of the Organ, there is a giant lung inside an airlock system.
It's known as the wind chest, a design patented by the Austin Organ Company.
The Spreckels Organ was built in 1914. It was first played publicly on New Years Eve, December 31st.
