He is also the Jared Jacobsen Chair Organist of the Chautauqua Institution
in western New York. Jared Jacobsen was the San Diego Civic Organist
from 1978 to 1984. During the summers, he was the organist at Chautauqua.
Regrettably, he was lost in an accident in 2019.
